What do you feel is your best quality? Why?: I am calm, patient, and a good listener. People sometimes tell me that I am one of the sweetest people they've met.
Your worst? Why?: Despite my "good" quality above, I can be too quiet, withdrawn, moody, cynical, and paranoid of people.
What's your favorite quote? Why?: "I postpone death by living, by suffering, by error, by risking, by living, by losing." -Anais Nin or "Not all those who wander are lost." -J.R.R. Tolkien
Both quotes mean a lot to me because of whom I am becoming as opposed to whom I was raised to become. I'm turning my back on traditions, on my childhood religion; without any tangible goals, I may seem aimless to many people. The way I see it, life is short; one life is all I have; I will walk to each end of the earth and back if I must.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? Why?: Physically, I wish I was smaller-boned... On a less shallow note, I wish that I could become more attached to people.
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? Why?: Selfishness is the root of all problems. Wars, rifts, pain--all come down to selfishness. But human nature would not be the same without it, and how can good exist if there is no evil to balance it out?
Why do you like the anime/manga Prince of Tennis?: The characters! 8D So many, so different. Some realistic, some out-of-this-world. It's beyond entertaining.
Who is your favorite character? Why? (You won't be judged on this): Akutsu Jin. Honestly, I don't know why. He's a jerk. XD But I see something beneath the surface of his meanness, in his relationships with Taka, Dan, and his mother. I think there's more to him.
Who is your least favorite character? Why?: Hm...there's no one character that I hate, but there are a couple I am indifferent to... Tezuka (personality of a piece of toast), Mukahi (his personality screams bitch to me), Wakato (does he deserve an explanation?), Hanamura (god, I should just put all of Jyousei under this part...)
What's your favorite pairing? Why?: I have several, but I think either Bane/Davide or Kabaji/Atobe would top the list. Both of them seem like pairings that are actually possible if the characters were real people. Both of them can be heartwarming, in my opinion. :3
What's your least favorite pairing? Why?: Tezuka/Fuji; I wouldn't bash it if it weren't as popular, but I have to say that I don't think it makes sense. I think Fuji views Tezuka with rivalry not affection, and Tezuka--like Echizen--is a teenage guy who has a tennis ball for a brain. One track mind! No time for romance!
If you got to choose a character in the show to be for 24 hours, who would it be? Why?:
How did you find this community?: Lumelle's profile
Anything else?: To say one more thing about my personality--I contradict myself. I'm quiet but opinionated. I'm gullible but cynical. I'm sweet yet moody. I'm both a day and night person, depending. I'm leaderlike but will step into the background if need be. GOD, I MUST BE BIPOLAR!
...that is all. ^_^ Thanks to all who actually read my rambles and will vote...
